It is our culture at Bunifu to always deliver value to our customers; Bunifu ERP (for schools and colleges) users are never left out. Among the strategies we have in place to achieve this obligation are feature releases and enhancements every quarter of the year.
We also find it imperative for us to always communicate these changes on the product to our users and school owners who are interested in automating their administrative processes so that they can focus on what matters.

Bunifu ERP for schools and colleges is a distributed solution which adapts to organizations workflow and avails the benefits of specialization and delegation of tasks. The software is installed on a server and based on the deployment the software, it can be accessed within the institution’s intranet or over the internet.
The approach to Bunifu ERP design and implementation is a hybrid one; the solution is offline with a cloud synchronization and data back-up component. It outputs financial reports, receipts, vouchers and academic reports among many others. Communication and dissemination of its outputs is via SMS, Email and a mobile app for the different users – parents, teacher and the school administration.
Before we highlight what to expect in this quarter, lets us walk through the current features of Bunifu ERP for schools and colleges.
This module provides a comprehensive student admission form with a multiple guardian details addition facility. Previous education details can also be captured here. The information saved here forms the student profile which includes their passport photo. On the student’s profile, you can manage other records related to the student e.g fees payment, exams, etc.
Bunifu ERP exam module manages exams, ranks students and helps the school administration and the parent/guardian to track the student’s performance. This module automates examinations report generation as well.
This module manages school cash flows; both income and expenditure. It has a comprehensive fee classification system hence easy analysis of fee balances for each student, class or the entire school based on the fee structure.
The Human Resource (HR) and Payroll module manages staff information, payroll generation and bank schedules. It efficiently manages all employees from admission to exit, the entire payroll and automatic calculation of pay deductions for each employee.
Manages budgeting for various vote heads, fees structure and funds transfer from one account to another.
This module captures supplier information details, generates purchase orders and invoices.
This Module Manages school transport payments and bus/van/vehicle assignment.
The Reports Module gives daily cash and bank summary, cashbook and ledger reports, trial balance, income statement and statement of financial position, imprest reports and cheque receipt register. This eases work for internal audit and prudence in spending
Bunifu ERP has an inbuilt SMS and Email system which provides an easy and a quick way to send messages to any user of the system. This brings forth effective communication between administration, teachers, students and parents. The system also keeps a record of the communication between the school and it’s stakeholders. The two modules are added as an add-on plugin for student fee payment reminders and staff pay slip notification etc.
The web portal allows for automation and remote access of information. It provides students and staff with the ability to manage their accounts and to access relevant information. E-procurement services and information are also availed here to the public/suppliers.
The Cloud Back Up Interface backs up any information or transaction made on the ERP. It pushes such information as school fee information and payroll to an online portal accessible via a browser within school LAN or via internet.
The android Mobile App which available on Google Play store allows for ease of communication and alerts between the school, the parents and staff. A parent/guardian can signup and be in a position to access information about their student/pupil.
Fee Payment From Mobile App: Beginning June, parents will be able to pay fees from the mobile Application-Bunifu Schools, an Android App that enhances communication between the school and its stakeholders.
User engagement: Mobile app users (parents, teachers and the school admin) will be able to communicate by sending direct messages among themselves; peer-to-peer and withing forums.
Timetabling: This has been on top of the request list since 2017 and we are glad to announce that a flexibe time-tabling module will be out by June 2018.
Inventory: This module helps institutions record and keep a comprehensive list of its property which can always be referred to by a click of a button.
Schemes of work: This turns out to be the ‘elephant’ in the house among teachers and Bunifu comes in to ease the workload on teachers’ desk so that they can concentrate on delivering knowledge to students.
Billing: For existing users, obtaining outstanding SMS and Licensing bills will be a thing of the pas as this module comes in to simplify, remind and keep records of all bills a school/college owes Bunifu.
Value for school owners: Since inception, the concern has been “can I access my school day-today activities remotely or on mobile?” among school owners or administrators and this is announcement that all will have been taken care of by June 2018. With this feature the school admin will be able to access records and communicate to specific members of staff or parents from their mobile apps.
Transport: Specification of routes, time of pick up and billing will now be included on the transport system.
HR & Payroll – introduction of a PAYE calculator and automated inclusion of other statutory deductions on the PayRoll.
College exam module: colleges will be able to record and post students’ exams on a portal where students can access remotely on the mobile apps or on the web portal.
